- Luke Musgrave Receptions O3.5 Receptions (DraftKings)
Musgrave has been a pleasant surprise to start the season, as rookie TEs typically fail to produce great numbers. Through 3 games, he has a 16% target share for Green Bay and is coming off a game where he had 6 catches for 49 yards. Detroit has a good defense, but they do allow TEs to produce.
Chiefs TEs had 5 catches for 43 yards in Week 1 (No T. Kelce) Seahawks TEs had 9 catches for 132 yards in Week 2 Falcons TEs had 10 catches for 78 yards in Week 3
- Romeo Doubs O39.5 Receiving Yards (FanDuel)
Romeo Doubs is coming off a great game against the Saints, where he saw 12 targets, catching 5 passes for 73 yards. He ran routes on 86% of the Packers passing plays and received a 26% target share. This week, he will matchup against Jerry Jacobs from Detroit, who has had a poor start to the season. DK Metcalf (Week 2) and Justin Watson (Week 1) both had respectable numbers when facing Jacobs. I think the return of C. Watson actually helps Doubs even more, although I would play this regardless of whether or not Watson suits up.
- Sam LaPorta O4.5 Receptions (DraftKings)
Sam LaPorta has been the greatest revelation in the league at the TE position this year. He is coming off a monster game where he secured 8 catches for 84 yards and 1 TD. In Week 2, he caught 5 passes for 63 yards. He is consistently running around routes on 80% of the Lions passing plays and has a season target share of 23%. This is expected to be a close game with an O/U set at a respectable 46 points and Green Bay is “middle-of-the-pack” when it comes to defending the TE.
