The Astros are firing on all cylinders right now, averaging the most runs scored since the All-Star-Break wrapped up. They are a top-ten team in runs scored on the season. Kyle Tucker has mashed at Coors Field during his career, batting .350 with 8 RBIs in 20 ABs. I found an interesting nugget when researching this play. Of the 7 career hits he has at Coors, 4 have been triples. That’s a pretty incredible statistic. He has 11 career triples, and 36% of those have come at one opposing ballpark. The Rockies have switched pitchers, as the matchup was originally A. Gomber, making this a must-play. I still think it’s a good play with Jake Bird making the start, who will likely only go 2 innings at most. I suspect they bring in LHP Ty Blach after that, a pitcher that Tucker could thrive against. There are a lot of Astros options in this game, and I think playing one of them is a must. I will roll with their best active hitter, Kyle Tucker.
