Daily Player Prop – 6/4

Who:  Paul Goldschmidt (STL)

What:  To Record Over 1.5 Total Bases (-115 FD)

When:  June 4th @ 10:35AM CST – Cardinals @ Pirates

Where:  PNC Park

Why:  Paul Goldschmidt faces Rich Hill, a left-handed pitcher from Pittsburgh. On the season, Hill has a 4.76 era, although he’s been worse at home and during day games. He will primarily throw curveballs, 4-seam fastballs, and cutters to right-handed batters. The pitch to keep an eye on today is the curveball, which Goldschmidt has hammered this season. In his career, Goldschmidt is 12 for 23 with three home runs versus Hill.  Goldschmidt has 18 doubles on the season and has been particularly good during day games and vs left-handed pitchers. For his career, Goldschmidt has had a ton of success at PNC Park with 17 career doubles, seven home runs, and a batting average of over .300.  PNC Park is a Top 10 stadium in the league for doubles. The weather looks great for right-handed better doubles today.
