Raley faces Alec Marsh, a RHP rookie from KC. Marsh only has 9 IP in the big leagues. In his 1st career start at Kauffman Stadium, he allowed 5 ERs in 4 innings. Marsh throws 4 seam FBs, change-ups, curveballs and occasional sliders. Raley has been excellent against the change-up and good against all 4-pitch types this season. Raley has been a great RBI producer this season and plays for one of the best run-scoring teams in baseball. Although Marsh can have good “stuff” but is really more suited for a reliever position, IMO. His walks allowed may end up getting him in trouble and Raley should get chances to capitalize.
