NFL Week 2: Best Props

Who: Jahan Dotson (WSH) O42.5 Receiving Yards

Why: Dotson has quietly become the most dangerous weapon in Washington’s underrated offense. He had 40 yards in Week 1, which was a snooze-fest of a game that saw the Commanders beat the Cardinals 20-16. This week Washington heads to Denver to take on the 0-1 Broncos. Dotson has hit this number in 5 of his last 6 games dating back to last season when he started seeing regular playing time. Last week, the Raiders went to Denver and both Jakobi Myers and Davante cleared this number by a large margin. With Patrick Surtain likely covering T. McLaurin, Dotson should get mismatch opportunities all game.

Who: DJ Moore (CHI) O43.5 Receiving Yards

Why: Star receiver DJ Moore received 2 targets last week, as the Bears were embarrassed at home by the Packers, losing 38-20. The coaching staff is going to feed DJ this weekend, win or lose. The Bucs secondary is susceptible to giving up big games to marquee WRs. Justin Jefferson just torched the Bucs defense for 9 catches and 150 yards last weekend, while WR3 Jordan Addison also had 61 yards through the air. I expect this to be a close game and the Bears may find themselves trying to keep up with the Bucs late in the game. I think DJ has a realistic path to 80+ receiving yards in this one.

Who: Amon-Ra St. Brown (DET) O74.5 Receiving Yards

Why: Check out what the Rams did to this Seattle defense in Week 1. Tutu Atwell and Puka Nacau crossed the 100+ receiving yard threshold in an unexpected blowout that saw the Rams win 30-13. The Lions are -4.5 favorites in this game, and I think they will open up the passing offense en route to a win. St. Brown should be featured early and often. I think he goes for over 100+ yards in this matchup.

Who: Anthony Richardson (IND) O42.5 Rushing Yards

Why: The Colts placed an emphasis on QB designed runs during week 1, with 27% of the designed runs being built for Richardson. He finished the game with 10 carries for 40 yards. This week he faces a lowly Houston Texans defense that was beaten 25-9 by Baltimore in week 1. While Lamar Jackson was held to 38 yards rushing in that game, he averaged 6.3 yards per carry. The Ravens simply chose to run through their RBs in a game that didn’t need Lamar to rush and risk injury. I think this will be a closer game and IND doesn’t have much depth at the RB position. I expect Richardson to get 1 minimum of 10 carries and he should easily surpass the 42.5 yard mark.
